Fart Family

Fart e' un personaggio alla "Dennis the Menace" che ho creato fra uno schizzo e l'altro in ufficio (Acqua in bocca con il capo!)...niente di serio, pero' non nego che mi piacerebbe provare a disegnare qualche tavola di questo discolo!

Fart is a "Dennis the Menace" character type I created in one of my sketching/doodling Office session (don't tell it to my boss tough!).

I'd like to draw some boards using this characters...maybe in the future...

Spiderman 3

Maggio e' vicino e con lui l'uscita di un film che sto aspettando...un po' da nerd: Spiderman 3.

Ho visto, con estrema soddisfazione, sia Spiderman 1 che Spiderman 2, ma questa volta e' diverso, perche' mio figlio Andrea (4 anni) sta aspettando con me e vuole andarlo a vedere con me :-)

Tutto questo e' come un sogno che rende Spiderman 3 il film piu' importante del 2007...almeno per me, non importa se Andrea reggera' in sala solo dieci minuti, questi sono dettagli.

04 - 05 - 2007....this date is very near and than we get spidey back on the screen! I saw the 1st and the 2nd movie, but this time there is something new make this event more and more special. My kid Andrea (4 years old) want to see this movie and want to do it with his dad (me! :-)). That the reason why Spiderman 3 is for me the most important 2007 movie!

Aggiornamento dal Paradiso

A fine Aprile consegnerò tutte le tavole del progetto Paradise...

Finalmente dopo diverse prove abbiamo anche deciso per la copertina definitiva, di cui ho già fatto le matite, Stab (la colorista) e' gia' al lavoro e la data di uscita dovrebbe essere per fine Luglio...

46 tavole, anche se dettagliate, sono un impegno medio piccolo per un fumettista professionista, se penso ad amici come Riccardo Burchielli, Fabio Lai, Marco Turini che all'anno ne macinano parecchie, ma parecchie di piu'...ma per uno come me, fumettista dei week end, sono un bell'impegno sopratutto quando la tavola e' ricca di particolari ed il risultato di uno stretto lavoro con lo scrittore. Io e Dobbs abbiamo consumato la chat parlandop delle tavole, dell'atmosfera dei personaggi ecc...

Paradise project Update: I'm going to finish all the boards by the end of April and the colorist (Stab) is already working hard on it.

After several draft proposal we finally decided the cover with the publisher and the book should be on the French comics store shelf at the end of July...

46 boards + Cover it's a medium/low work for a comic pro, but for a just "spare time" drawer as me it's a pretty hard job, especially if the boards are with the right amount of detailed backgrounds etc...
